If you enjoy the exploration and discovery aspect of the game and want a game where you discover the story and objectives as you go, with much of the puzzles being in how to progress through the environment and with answers that may be hidden elsewhere, you may enjoy Outer Wilds.
Note that there is basically nothing in the way of story in this game you are just on an island with many puzzles left for you to solve for the sake of enjoying the act of solving them. I will be using lots of images in this walkthrough for most of the puzzles but they will be contained in spoilers as to lower on clutter and give your mouse's scroll wheel less of a hard time.If you would like exploring a world solving largely self-contained puzzles, some of which rely on figuring out a symbol "language" and others of which require carefully observing the world and the environment or thinking outside of the box, I have to also highly recommend The Witness. All puzzles with clues nearby which aren't contained in letters, I have left the solutions in spoilers if you wanted to give some a go! All puzzles which NEED clues from letters, I will solve for you. If you were wanting to attempt some puzzles yourself, I have catered the walkthrough to that. This game includes various letters which you are free to pick up and read for more of a narrative into the story, but I will not be telling you to pick them up. But don't worry about that last part, I'll try my best to keep that from happening. However, with this walkthrough, you should be able to get a fairly easy 1000G, whilst having your brain feel like it's about to spontaneously combust. The only slight issue with the game is there is little no guidance on what you're actually meant to be doing. Quern - Undying Thoughts is essentially a small, open world, adventure, puzzle game.
